Originally from Golden, Colorado, Kirk Meyer began piano instruction at age 4 with the Yamaha method. He then studied under Mrs. Maryann Wetzler and continued during high school with Mr. Howard Pancoast. He has attended Martin Luther College, where his organ teacher was Dr. Wayne Wagner and his piano teacher was Mrs. Bethel Balge. He has accompanied recitals, performed at events, played in the orchestra for several musicals, composed music, and played piano and organ at many churches.Kirk currently resides near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In addition to his albums, he also travels the United States presenting live performances. He specializes in impromptu and improvisational playing.
